DOCK PARTY

Dock Party creates Indie rock music that effortlessly spreads good vibes. The 4-piece band from Chattanooga consists of Stuart Brown (guitar), Henry Clark (drums), Sid Cheemakoti (guitar) and Colin Sanders (bass). For months they covered the likes of their favorite groups, Dayglow, flipturn, and The Backseat Lovers. Brown said they especially like The Backseat Lovers for their songs that start out slow and finish with a more upbeat style. This is visible on Dock Party’s intricate and polished 'Dancing In Circles' which might be their best blending of lyrics and guitar strokes.

Self written, recorded and produced, the group strives to create a one of a kind sound. “It’s pretty cool to have our work on Spotify,” said Sid. “We feel like you can hear the time and effort we put into this work.” Added Clark, who produced the EP, “It’s still hard to believe we did this. It’s one of the coolest feelings.” Their EP 'Sailboats', captures the essence of long summer nights and all around good vibes. Each track, unique in its own way, captures the true Dock Party Sound. "It’s so cool when we have a moment of creativity and end up with a really good piece of music,” said Sanders. “We never dreamed this would happen when we started out playing other people’s songs in Henry’s basement."
